What is the Tree View
The Tree View in EROL is a constantly visible Windows Explorer style view, that underlies the entire building process in EROL and:
1) Provides an overall visual structure of the store
2) Provides access to any part of the store, including all pages as well as most settings

The EROL Tree View is comprised of four separated tree-views split across a set of tabs, with each tab giving access to a tree view relevant to particular elements that make up the store.

These four tree view tabs are:
- Pages tab
- Menus tab
- Toolbars tab
- Basket tab

Pages tab (Tree View)
The Pages Tree View displays all your store pages. Any new pages you wish to add to your store, are added to this tree view structure.

The Store Pages icon at the top of the tree structure allows you to set the various controls that will affect all the store pages you add. These include the ability to set the default font settings across all pages, the window size for all pages and the loading message that will appear when your store is initially accessed.

Menus tab (Tree View)

The Menus Tree View displays all the menus that you wish to include in your store. Any new menus you wish to create are added to this tree view structure.

Menu pages are not intended to exist on their own; they are assigned to any individual store page (using the 'Assign a Menu Page' Dropdown on the Setup sub-tab for any store Page.) and occupy the Menu Frame.

The Menu Pages icon at the top of the tree structure allows you to set the various controls that will affect all the menu pages you create for your store. These include the ability to set the menu frame size and decide on the positioning of the menu frame in your store.

These two settings can only be set once and will apply throughout your store.

Toolbars tab (Tree View)

The Toolbars Tree View displays all the toolbars that you wish to include in your store. Normally you would only require one toolbar for the entire store, however EROL does offer you the ability to create more than one should the need arise. Any new toolbars you wish to create are added to this tree view structure.

Toolbar pages are not intended to exist on their own; they are assigned to any individual store page (using the 'Assign a Toolbar Page' Dropdown on the Setup sub-tab for any store Page) and occupy the Toolbar Frame.

The Tool Pages icon at the top of the tree structure allows you to set the various controls that will set how the toolbar(s) you create for your store are displayed. These include the ability to set the toolbar frame size, as well as setting the maximum width for any contents added to the toolbar page.

These settings can only be set once and will apply to all toolbars throughout your store.

Basket tab (Tree View)
The Basket Tree View sub-tab provides access to the Basket Frame settings, but more importantly provides access to the Order Form setup, including the tax, shipment and payment options.

Whilst the other Tree View sub-tabs provide the ability to add new pages to the tree structure, this tree view is for settings purposes only: by clicking on one of the elements in the tree structure, you can access the settings governing that element.

Moving Pages around the Tree Views
When you add a page, or a child page, it will get added to the tree structure of the selected tree view tab. For example, if the Tree View Pages tab is selected and a new page is added, that new page will be added to the store pages tree structure. If the Menus Tree View tab is selected and a new page is added, that page will be added to the menus tree structure.

It is important to make sure you have the correct tree view tab selected before adding a page.

Moving Pages within the same Tree View tab
Pages in the tree view can be cut, copied and pasted at any other point within the same tree view.

Pages can be pasted as child pages by selecting the 'paste as child page' option when the paste button is clicked.

Moving Pages across Tree View tabs

Pages in one tree view can be copied and pasted into another tree view tab's tree structure if necessary. They cannot however be cut and pasted across tree view tabs.

Pages copied across tree view tabs can be pasted as child pages by selecting the 'paste as child page' option when the paste button is clicked.
